Cambridge / England
With little time left in London before we start a new adventure in France, we made the most of the weekend and did a day trip out to Cambridge. Cambridge is a university city on the River Cam, which has a lot of bridges, hence, Cambridge. Clever innit. Well, it should be since it's the second oldest English-speaking University in the world. And second only to Oxford University because Cambridge was founded by scholars leaving Oxford after a dispute caused by the execution of two scholars in 1209.
Jumping on the train at Kings Cross we were in Cambridge within 40 minutes - why hadn't we come here sooner! It's so easy. We had no real plans so spent the day wandering, eating, dodging the cold, absorbing any Cambridge knowledge we could and of course, punting on the river Cam. Our guide was a student, gave us an excellent tour and made a prestigious University seem really cool and wish I had studied harder. Oh well, at least I can say I went to Cambridge...
... for the day.

The has also been the longest continuously operating bookshop site in England where books were first sold in the 1580s.
I love creating images that speak to me.
I grew up in a small town that nobody really knows about, Levin. Spent a good ten years in Hamilton making some of the best friends anyone could have. And now I’m living, working and playing in the city of Auckland, New Zealand. Also a small country that people have trouble locating – I’m looking at you America!
Life is about stories, and that’s what I love to capture and document. My shooting style is unobtrusive. You may be a natural in front of the camera, or have no idea what to do but before we even start I’ll make sure you’re comfortable and relaxed.
Things I love: Travelling to wherever I can, my partner Monita, homemade burgers, wood fired pizzas, the smell of rain on a hot summers day, mountains, the snow, sunsets and sunrises, star gazing, natural light, the aesthetic of wood, crashing waves and day dreaming.
